My guess goes to Einstein. His ideas and accomplishments are rather complex to understand. Even now, what people know about him is his name more than anything else.
Hitler on the other hand, people will see the Swastika and automatically know what that’s related to. They know about gas chambers. They know about WWII. Evil people are more fascinating in my opinion. Learning about them is more fun than learning about scientists we mostly don’t understand.
